This page is dedicated to Kelly "Kielle" O'Guinn, a friend of mine who transcended fandoms.

She was diagnosed with cancer in early September. It was a brief battle and she lost, though she fought with everything she had. I am grateful she does not suffer any longer, but my heart goes out for her husband, who loved her so very much.

My heart goes out to the hundreds and hundreds of lives she touched on the internet. She is the proof that the internet can and does create better things than netstalkers, porn, and spam. She is the proof that you can build a real community out of electrons and bandwidth. She is the center of a web that will hang shining in cyberspace forever. Without her I would not have met many dear friends, including the man I love.

May her memory be for a blessing.

I know it is better to understand and simply show the respect to something with a big fan following. So the webcomic starts in earnest on Friday, after y'all Browncoats and friends come back from one awesome cinematic shindig.
